Lynda
Stirrett is the Owner and President of DanceIT International
Ltd. and has invested nearly 25 years in the dance/fitness
industry. She administers the day-to-day operations of the company and works closely
with both our Dancer/Choreographer/Fitness Professional and Leadership Consultant
to ensure each DanceIT session is of the highest
quality and our instructors remain current with the latest industry practices.Her
career in dance includes over 20 years of teaching all aspects of dance and choreographing
several local musicals.
In
addition to contributing some 50+ years of dance and teaching experience, Lynda
is also an active DanceIT Instructor and remains
devoted to sharing this fabulous concept with as many people as possible.
Lynda's
energy is endless! In her spare time she volunteers to raise awareness and money
for various charities. Events such as
"Dance for Heart" and the sale of DanceIT
cookbooks have raised over $100,000 over the years. The organizations include
the Breast Cancer Society of which Lynda herself is a survivor.
Nadia
Robichaud
CHOREOGRAPHER
Nadia
Robichaud has been a Fitness Professional since 1992, teaching an array of programs
in the Ottawa/Gatineau area. She is a certified group fitness leader and personal
trainer. In 1993 she won the Novice National Aerobic Champion title and was a
finalist at the Nationals in 92-94 and 95. Although fitness is a great part of
her life Nadias talents are diverse. A singer, dancer and choreographer,
Nadia teaches Hip Hop dance and is the choreographer for DanceIT
International. She has also choreographed funky moves for Brian Orsers
ice skating show. Nadia has also been actively exploring spirituality through
Reiki and Yoga. She is a certified Reiki Master and is currently working on her
Yoga teacher certificate. Nadia has also presented at the Can Fit Pro fitness
conference as well has had the privilege to teach in Montreal, Toronto and San
Francisco for different facilities. Her passion is sure to inspire!
Pierre
Chartier

CONSULTANT
Pierre
Chartier, M.Sc. Exercise Physiology, is presently serving as the companys
consultant on leadership certification. Pierre is president of Fit Accompli, a
successful employee fitness consulting firm in the Ottawa area and has over 22
years experience in training leaders both nationally and internationally. Pierre
was the first recipient of the Mall Peepre Memorial Award for significant contributions
to leadership training in Canada. He is a faculty member of Algonquin Colleges
Fitness and Lifestyle Program and author of several fitness related articles and
manuals.
